Paul is also the Information Security Officer, responsible for technical security at Pathway Genomics Corporation. Previously, he was CTO/Co-Founder of Sea Networks, Inc., where he designed and implemented brand agnostic secure systems for organizations appropriate to their size, nature and complexity. Prior to that, he was Senior Systems Engineer at SEA/Nextleft, where he both developed curriculum and was instructor for several Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) classes for DoD personnel retraining at San Diego State University. 

Paul is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional / United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), member of International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and has a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). He attended the University of California at San Diego.
